Recently I listened to a great podcast on career theory, from the “Behind the Science of Career Development” podcast. This series is created by the Asia Pacific Career Development Association (APCDA) on career theory, and is a conversation between Marilyn Maze, the organiser of the APCDA conference, and Brian Hutchison, the APCDJ Editor.
Marilyn and Brian have a great conversation, ranging through CAGs, Parsons, Super, Holland, Pryor & Bright, Savickas, Burnett & Evans, and newer people to the field: Day (testing ideas on YAVIS clients "young, attractive, verbal, intelligent, and successful"), and Feller (low cost, high quality, access to all).
You can find the podcast online here: https://audioboom.com/posts/7857148-episode-7-marilyn-and-brian-talk-career-theory-and-practice.
Listen and enjoy a great revision, and preview, of theories and theorists!
