I teach on the Bachelor of Career Development in the Social Sciences School at Nelson Marlborough Institute of Technology in sunny Nelson, and on the AUT Bachelor of Sport & Recreation joint venture programme. Passionate in ensuring systems are simple, and relationships are based on open communication, trust and mutual respect, I work to engage students and smooth their path to success.
Teaching across two schools informs my teaching and research in some rich ways. I have a Masters in Management (thesis on effective leadership case study teaching methods) and a B.Com (Management & Accounting), with key skills are in coaching, governance, development of strategic and business plans, information management, development of policy, procedure and systems for management and governance, communications, branding and PR. I am currently undertaking my PhD, looking at career development practitioners.
